DeskDays is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your data never leaves your device.

What We Collect

DeskDays stores the following data that you explicitly provide:

Your return-to-office compliance status entries (dates and in-office/remote designation)
Your RTO target percentage and reporting period settings
Your workday, holiday, and sick day configuration

Pro features (opt-in only):

Geofence check-in: If you enable automatic location-based check-in, DeskDays accesses your device location solely to determine whether you are within your configured office radius. Location data is never stored, transmitted, or logged — it is used only for the momentary check-in decision.
WiFi check-in: If you enable WiFi-based check-in, DeskDays reads the name (SSID) of your currently connected WiFi network to compare against your configured office network. The SSID is never stored beyond your settings or transmitted anywhere.
NFC / QR check-in: Scanned tag data is used only to trigger a local check-in. No scan data is stored or transmitted.

No data is collected automatically without your explicit opt-in. No usage analytics, device identifiers, or behavioral tracking of any kind.

All data is used solely to calculate and display your RTO compliance progress within the app. Nothing else.

All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData (Apple’s on-device persistence framework). Your data is:

Stored only on your device
Never transmitted to any server
Never shared with any service
Included in your standard iCloud device backups only if you have enabled them through iOS Settings

DeskDays has:

Zero data is shared with third parties because zero data leaves your device.

Deleting the app removes all stored data from your device.
